BREAKAWAY Publication
TYPOGRAPHY III
Publication Design · Visual Identity
BREAKAWAY is a hockey-based publication that fights negative stereotypes and dares to broaden the scope of player diversity and inclusivity, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status. By amplifying underrepresented voices, it pushes the idea of “breaking away” from restrictive stigmas currently surrounding the sport.

Initial Wordmark Sketches

Visual Language Sheet
In order for the publication to remain consistent and cohesive across multiple issues and designers, a standardized grid system and visual language guideline set are necessary.
